- The Quick-Clean® removable base makes cleaning your feeder easy. We suggest a quick cleaning of the inside of the bottom of the feeder each time you refill the feeder. To remove the Quick-Clean base, simply squeeze the two buttons on the underside of the base and slide the base down. For a more thorough cleaning, the seed deflector may also be removed. Squeeze the sides of the seed deflector, and slide it up and off the base unit. Brush out the residue and replace the deflector and base. Periodically wash with a 1-part water to 10-parts bleach solution. Always rinse and let dry before refilling.
