Looking for a way to help birds and have fun? Participate in The Great Backyard Bird Count! The 2012 Great Backyard Bird Count will take place February 17-20, and our FREE presentation will tell you everything you need to know in order to participate! Beginning and expert birdwatchers alike can take part in the Count. Participation can take as little as 15 minutes on one day, or you can count for as long as you like each day of the event. The annual Great Backyard Bird Count helps scientists determine where the birds are across the continent, which helps answer a variety of important questions about birds. Participating in the Great Backyard Bird Count is free, fun, and easy...plus, it helps birds!

Why should we care about Mason Bees and other pollinators? Because more than 1/3 of our food supply is dependent on the plants they pollinate! Our native Mason Bees are splendid pollinators, and "keeping" Mason Bees is educational and fun. Learn about the mason bee life cycle and how to create a garden that's attractive to mason bees, butterflies, wasps, moths, and other essential pollinators at this exciting class. Mason bee cocoons will be available for sale to jump start your colony!
